USS MISSOURI JUST GOT BUFFED — AND IT’S ACTUALLY CRAZY.
In the 0.99 update, the devs pulled off something nobody saw coming: they took the old-school legend Missouri… and turned her into a full-on monster again. This isn’t a light buff. This is a “wake up, lads, Missouri is back in the meta” type of upgrade.
Main gun changes — Mark 7 (406 mm)
Damage bumped from 10,000 → 11,000, and projectile speed is faster, meaning those shells hit like a truck and arrive before your enemy even blinks. Long-range shots feel clean, accurate, and deadly.
Secondaries — Mark 12 (127 mm)
Secondaries saw solid damage increases: 1,625 → 2,000. Projectile speed also received a buff making them much more threatening up-close. Reload time increased from 6.5s → 10s — slower, but with this damage output, they melt anything that gets too close.
Biggest glow-up — BOFORS QUADRO (40 mm)
The devs basically turned the AA guns into mini-nukes:
- Damage: 550 → 1,500
- Explosion damage: 0 → 150
- Reload: 4s → 6.5s
- Explosion radius: 167m
- Fire range: 5.3 km → 6 km
Missouri’s close-range defense is no joke now. Planes, boats, drones — everything melts when it enters that danger zone. It feels like Missouri finally woke up from retirement and said, “Alright, kids, let’s show you how it’s done.”
Only downside? Price bumped to 20,500 gold — but honestly, with these buffs, she’s worth every coin.
