IJN YAMATO JUST GOT A NEXT-LEVEL BUFF — AND NOW IT'S A REAL MONSTER ON THE SEA.

The 0.99 update gave Yamato the comeback nobody expected. She finally has the raw power to square up against the FS Super Alsace without fear, and in many matchups Yamato can now straight-up dominate. This isn't a tiny stat bump — this is a full transformation.

Pricing & Rarity

The first big change is the pricing: 14,000 → 19,500 gold, and the rarity swapped from Legendary → Epic. Sounds wild, but once you see what the devs buffed, it all clicks.

Durability & Maneuverability

Yamato's durability got boosted from 460,000 → 470,000, and she can now rotate in place, making this huge battleship surprisingly responsive during tight engagements.

46 cm Type 94 Main Guns

Hit harder now: 13,200 → 14,000 damage with faster projectile speed. Long-range dominance just got even meaner.

155 mm Secondary Guns

Got a monster upgrade: 4,500 → 8,000 damage, plus explosion damage (150), a 167m AoE, and the range extended to 9.3 km. These secondaries absolutely shred mid-range targets — they're basically mini-battleship-guns now.

127 mm Dual-Purpose Guns

Received massive boosts across both variants — more damage, faster projectile speed, and some even gained explosion damage and better accuracy. Close-range duels with Yamato feel way scarier for the enemy now.

Air Defense

Also got tuned up. It's not the best, but it's finally usable. Yamato can intercept small missiles now, but heavy missile spam will still break through. She's tougher — just not invincible.

⚠️ CRITICAL WEAKNESS: Submarines

Yamato's biggest vulnerability: she cannot hit submerged targets. None of her weapons reach underwater, which makes her extremely vulnerable to submarines. A skilled sub player can outplay Yamato every time if left unchecked. Always have allies watching the depths.

Bottom line: In surface combat, Yamato can pump out 300k+ burst damage instantly and melt ships like nothing. Yamato is back — stronger, louder, and way more dangerous… just keep an eye on those subs.
