Fatah Missile Review – Speed King with a Catch

The new Iranian Fatah missile has officially arrived in Modern Warships, and this time it’s locked behind a pay-to-win gacha, instantly making it one of the most talked-about weapons in the current event. On the surface, Fatah looks absolutely cracked — and in some situations, it really is.

Let’s start with the headline feature: speed. The Fatah is literally the fastest missile in the game right now, even outperforming the legendary Zircon. Once launched, it reaches its target insanely fast, leaving very little reaction time for enemies. Combined with its high damage output, a clean hit from Fatah feels brutal and satisfying. When it connects, you feel the value of that gacha pull immediately.

Another strong point is its launching arc. The missile follows a smooth, aggressive trajectory that helps it clear obstacles and approach targets from angles that standard flat-arc missiles struggle with. This makes it especially effective in chaotic close-quarters fights where positioning matters more than raw range.

However, Fatah is far from perfect. The biggest downside is its long lock-on time. In fast-paced battles, waiting for the lock can be frustrating, and it often gives enemies enough time to reposition, deploy countermeasures, or simply break line of sight. This significantly reduces its effectiveness in long-range engagements.

Despite the good arc, air defense systems remain a serious threat. At longer distances, well-built AA setups can intercept Fatah quite easily, especially since the missile becomes predictable once locked and launched. This limits its consistency in open maps and long-range duels.

Final Verdict

The Fatah missile shines brightest in short-range combat. Up close, its speed becomes overwhelming, its damage lands more reliably, and AA systems struggle to react in time. While it’s not a perfect all-range missile, it’s a terrifying weapon in the right hands. High risk, high reward — classic power weapon energy ⚡
