Deal with the Shadow Event

The new event Deal with the Shadow has arrived, and it’s a full gacha-style event where players must purchase keys for a chance to unlock some of the most valuable equipment and ships currently available. This is not a filler event. The reward pool is stacked with items that are actually useful in ranked battles, anti-submarine warfare, and high-level competitive play. If luck is on your side, this event can seriously upgrade your fleet.

Starting with the Z-18F, this is widely considered the best anti-submarine helicopter available for non-title players. It offers excellent submarine detection and consistent pressure with its ASW loadout. In ranked matches where submarines are a constant threat, the Z-18F can completely change how effectively you counter underwater enemies. It’s practical, powerful, and very accessible compared to other premium ASW helicopters.

Next is the Hyunmoo 4-4, one of the best underwater-launched, non-ballistic missiles in the game. Its launch style makes it very difficult to intercept, and it performs exceptionally well when used from submarines. For players who enjoy submarine gameplay but don’t rely on ballistic missiles, this is a top-tier weapon that fits perfectly into stealth and ambush tactics.

The TRG-300 grenade launcher is all about raw damage. It is one of the highest-damage grenade launchers available. However, it cannot hit torpedoes or submarines, meaning it is strictly designed for surface combat. On long-range maps and sniper-style ship builds, this launcher becomes extremely deadly and can melt enemy ships quickly.

The Mark 45 ASTOR remains the best nuclear torpedo in the game. Its underwater lethality and area damage make it terrifying against both submarines and surface ships. This torpedo is a true endgame weapon for serious submarine players.

The Tianjin is not overpowered, but it is a decent ACV that many collectors will appreciate. It offers balanced performance and a different carrier playstyle for those who like experimenting.

The Vittorio Veneto is an extremely strong cruiser known for having one of the best AA systems in the game. It shines in a support role and is frequently seen in ranked because strong air defense can decide matches.

Finally, the JS30DX is one of the best frigates, featuring a unique autocannon capable of hitting ships, submarines, and even torpedoes. Its versatility is why many pro players prefer it.
