The mid-month event Jade Storm has arrived, and it’s one of those events where every reward tier actually feels useful. Whether you’re an ALS player, a gacha spender, or fully F2P, there is something here that genuinely improves your gameplay rather than just adding cosmetics.
The main event reward is an unmanned vessel that plays very similarly to a submarine in terms of role and impact. It’s stealthy, hard to detect, and very effective in underwater or low-profile engagements. For ALS players, this is a very strong pickup because it can scout, harass, and apply pressure without risking your primary ships. Compared to several unmanned vessels already in the market, this one performs better in survivability and tactical usefulness.
In the P2W gacha, we get the first ship in the game with four cannon slots. Although it is classified as a destroyer, it behaves like a mini battleship. With x4 cannons, its long-range damage output is extremely high. On open maps and long-distance fights, this ship can even take down some battleships before they are able to respond properly. It completely changes the role of destroyers in artillery combat.
The bundle reward introduces a cruiser-type aircraft carrier, currently the fastest CV in the game. It carries two strike fighters, with one locked fighter capable of dealing up to 318,000 damage in a single strike. That amount of damage can remove half the health of a battleship or destroyer very easily. Unlike most carriers, this CV also has strong close-range armaments, allowing it to defend itself effectively.
For F2P players, the main gacha reward is a cannon with very high area damage. If you fire it while the enemy is launching missiles, the splash damage can destroy multiple missiles at once. This makes it one of the best defensive and offensive cannons available for free players.
