Naval Excellence Event Review – German Navy Day Mini-Event

Hello guys! We just got the new Naval Excellence mini-event dedicated to German Navy Day, and here’s my opinion on it.

This is a pretty simple mini-event where you earn points by winning battles and progressing through the reward track. The event isn’t huge, but there are a few interesting rewards worth looking at.

Free Rewards

For the free rewards, we get the Harsh Waters flag and the Astros II MK6 grenade launcher. In my opinion, Astros II MK6 is decent for lower-level players, but there are better free alternatives available, such as the WS-3. It’s not a bad weapon, but it’s not something that will dramatically change your gameplay if you already have solid grenade launchers.

Gold Pass Rewards

On the Gold Pass side, we get the Exemplary Service camouflage and the L/52A1 (155 mm) cannon. The L/52A1 is actually a pretty decent cannon with good overall performance. However, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly alternative, the Crusader remains a great option. I’d mainly recommend picking up the L/52A1 if you want to use it yourself or sell it later for ArtCoins, since it can be quite valuable.

Cosmetics & Overall Take

As for the cosmetics, both the Exemplary Service camouflage and the Harsh Waters flag look pretty good. They aren’t the flashiest cosmetics we’ve seen, but they fit the German Navy theme nicely and are solid additions to any collection.
