Naval Heritage Event

Date: May 29, 2026

The new Naval Heritage event has officially arrived in Modern Warships, bringing both free and premium rewards for players willing to grind online victories. The event itself is pretty straightforward — complete 15 online wins and you’ll unlock the main rewards depending on whether you stay free-to-play or go for the paid path.

M270 MLRS

For free-to-play players, the headline reward is the M270 MLRS. Honestly, it feels more like a beginner-friendly launcher than something competitive for high-level gameplay. The damage is decent enough for Level 20 players, but once you compare it to stronger alternatives like the WS-3, the weaknesses become obvious. The M270 is flareable, the missiles travel pretty slowly, and overall it struggles against experienced opponents using modern anti-missile tactics. It’s usable, but definitely not meta.

That said, newer players may still find value in it since it offers solid burst damage and can help during mid-tier progression. Veterans, though, probably won’t replace their current setups with it unless they just want to collect event equipment.

On the premium side, the Denshō cannon is clearly the better reward. While there are stronger cannons available in the current market and meta builds, Denshō still performs well thanks to its respectable direct damage and useful splash damage capability. It’s one of those weapons that may not dominate every battle, but it remains reliable and satisfying to use.

Another interesting point is its market value. Since the cannon is relatively expensive and somewhat limited, players who unlock it could potentially resell it later for a good amount of Artcoins if demand stays high.

Event Cosmetics

The cosmetics are honestly one of the better parts of this event. Both free and paid players receive decals and flags, which is always nice for collectors, but the premium reward track especially stands out because of the exclusive camouflage skin. The camo actually looks pretty clean and gives ships a more unique appearance compared to some of the older event cosmetics.

Flags and Camos

Overall, the Naval Heritage event feels decent but not groundbreaking. The rewards are solid enough to keep players active, though neither weapon really changes the meta. Free-to-play players get a launcher that’s okay for progression, while premium players receive the more valuable and practical reward with Denshō. The cosmetics and market potential are probably the biggest highlights this time around.
