Storm Patrol — Event Review

Storm Patrol Event – Full Breakdown & Honest Review

The Storm Patrol event is a short, time-limited mini event focused entirely on online battle victories. As shown in the image, the event runs for a few days only, making it a quick grind rather than a long-term commitment. To fully complete the reward track, players must secure 16 online match wins — no assists, no damage missions, just straight-up wins.

Event Structure & Rewards

The reward path is simple and linear. As you progress through your total online victories, you unlock a mix of resources and equipment:

There is also a Gold Pass option, but even without it, free players still get meaningful rewards, which is a big win for F2P players.

M270 MLRS – Is It Worth It?

The headline reward, the M270 MLRS, is where expectations need to be realistic. This launcher is technically a gacha-tier item, which already gives it collector value. Damage-wise, it can hit very hard, especially against grouped or slow targets. When volleys connect, the damage feels satisfying and impactful.

That said, it has a major downside: interception. The rockets are easy to counter with strong air defense systems, and against experienced players, a large portion of its damage can be completely nullified. This makes the M270 powerful but situational — strong in chaos, weaker in organized fights.

Final Verdict

Storm Patrol is a solid mini-event done the old-school way: win matches, earn rewards. No unnecessary complexity. The grind is fair, the rewards are practical, and the final prize is flashy but balanced.

Verdict:
✔ Worth doing for F2P
✔ Easy progression
✔ Gacha weapon without RNG pain
✖ M270 is strong but not meta-breaking

A clean, no-nonsense event — and honestly, that’s refreshing.
