Missiles — Long-Range Interceptors
Missiles are your first line of defense, designed to intercept aerial threats like strike fighters, bombers, and fast-moving aircraft before they get close. Their advanced tracking systems and long range allow them to engage targets at great distances, often before the enemy even realizes they’re being targeted.
In both real navies and Modern Warships, missile systems are highly automated and can lock onto multiple targets simultaneously. This makes them ideal for dealing with waves of incoming threats. However, missiles can be expensive to deploy and may have limited ammunition, so they’re best used for the most dangerous or distant enemies.
When to rely on missiles: Facing enemy aircraft, bombers, or drones at long range; when you need to thin out threats before they reach your ship; or when you want to maintain air superiority from a safe distance.
